The first engagement of this program involves learning through webinars. These trainings will be conducted in a series of 2 webinars and 1 voluntary follow-up session, for the next 6 months to accommodate teachers pan India. Teachers are required to attend 2 webinars and 1 follow-up session. Each participant will then train a minimum of 100 students to become eligible for the CBSE-Google certificate.
The maximum participation for each cohort is 5000 teachers. The registration will close once the numbers are achieved.

JIGYASA - THE AKAM QUIZ
As India celebrates 75 years of independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Taking his grand vision forward, the Indian Oil Corporation in collaboration with The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and The Ministry of Culture is launching Jigyasa: The AKAM Quiz.
Jigyasa is a step towards creating awareness and taking forward the parampara of Gyan through technology, innovation, and inclusive learning. Jigyasa, the largest ever quiz organized by India, drinks from the fountain of India’s civilization history; however, true to the evolutionary nature of Bharatiya, it is hosted on state-of-the-art technology, supported by artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Everyone can play Jigyasa.
The quiz is open to everyone across the world.
1. Participants in the age group of 13 to 18 (as of March 31, 2022) will be eligible to play the pre-qualifier round, followed by the District round, State round, Regional round, and eventually the National round.
2. All other participants will participate in the Jigyasa - Play-Along round. Play Along participants will answer 5 questions per day and win exciting rewards.

NEP 2020 emphasizes the importance of scientific guidance for children at schools. The real question
is ‘How to decide What to become in Future’? This decision becomes tough and complex in the current
scenario where a lot of changes are happening in the world of careers which signifies the role of
scientific Career and Skill Guidance at schools.
In this regard, CBSE in association with LIFOLOGY FOUNDATION, is organising National Guidance
Festival for students & parents of class VIII-XII from 19th September to 24th September 2022. This
festival will be organised in digital mode and will provide students the information on future careers,
skillsets to excel in the coming days and a clear plan regarding “Which career paths to choose and How
to reach the destination”.
This program is specially aimed atthe students to provide them the quality guidance from the experts
and to help co-create a vibrant future. The sessions will be a mix of expert talk, interaction, experiential
learning and exposure to Assessments & Scientific Career Guidance.
Students and parents (of class VIII-XII) can register before 10th September 2022, using the link.

1. There is no fee for attending this programme.
2. As limited seats are available, the selection of participants shall be on first come, first served
basis.
3. The invitation link for the webinar shall be emailed one day prior to the programme on the email
ID provided at the time of registration.

The Indian Knowledge Systems Division of Ministry of Education @ AICTE is creating
awareness about the rich heritage of knowledge traditions of India by organizing six
class-wise competitions for school children on MyGov platform.

CBSE organised School Health and Wellness Programme in CBSE
affiliated schools in collaboration with UNESCO. It is further informed that a
resource package which includes a 24-hour curriculum, training modules for
teachers and facilitators guide has been prepared by NCERT in consultation
with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, UNESCO,
Academia and other domain experts.
This programme is already being implemented in the State government schools and the CBSE
has decided to take up this programme in schools affiliated to the Board.

About Quiz
To accelerate the efforts to achieve universal sanitation coverage, Swachh Bharat Mission was launched on 2nd October 2014. Under the mission, all villages, Gram Panchayats, Districts, States and Union Territories in India declared themselves “open-defecation free” (ODF) by 2 October 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing over 100 million toilets in rural India. To ensure that the open defecation free behaviour are sustained, no one is left behind, and that solid and liquid waste management facilities are accessible, the Mission is moving towards the next Phase II of SBMG i.e. ODF-Plus.
ODF Plus activities under Phase II of Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) will reinforce ODF behaviours and focus on ODF sustainability and providing interventions for the safe management of solid and liquid waste in villages i.e. to convert the villages from ODF to ODF Plus by 2024-25.
There is a huge scope and greater need for creating mass awareness on various components of ODF Plus among the common masses and students. The Quiz competition is designed to instil among the masses an awareness and understanding of Sanitation and SBM-G Phase II, its importance in triggering behavior change and desirable actions and practices for promoting ODF Plus.
The objectives are
1) create awareness regarding Sanitation and SBM-G Phase II.
2) develop understanding about the various aspects of sanitation, challenges and possible solutions.
3) Instil a sense of cleanliness.
