Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

AMRIT KALASH YATRA (Meri Maati Mera Desh )

In the 02nd Phase of Meri Maati Mera Desh, Mitti is being collected from each

household of India as a symbolic contribution and expression of people's

participation towards the creation of an Amrit Vatika in Delhi. The Amrit Vatika

along with an AKAM Memorial will be a lasting legacy and permanent reminder of

the entire commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsv.

"Meri Maati Mera Desh", with the tagline `Mitti ko naman, veeron ka vandan`, is a nationwide and people led “Jan bhagidari” initiative to commemorate 75 years of India's independence. It is the finale of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav program. 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' celebrates the many achievements of the nation. It involves paying tribute to the 'Veers' who protect our nation. The ceremonies would be conducted at the level of village, Panchayat, Block, Urban Local body, State and National level.

We affirm our bond to the nourishing earth and honor our braves with the following simple actions:

1) Dedication of Shilaphalakam-installation of nameplate of Veers.

2) Taking the Panch Pran Pledge.

3) Vasudha Vandan—creation of Amrit Vatika with 75 saplings of indigenous trees.

4) Veeron Ka Vandan- honoring freedom fighters/braves who protect the nation and families of braves.

5) Hoisting of National Flag and singing of National Anthem.

“Ek Bharat Sanskriti Sangam” campaign has been launched to celebrate ‘Diversity’ and ‘Art’. The essence of this campaign is to encourage participants (Age 18 to 30 years) to recognise and embrace other cultures and thus in the process of doing it, instilling the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”. This is a unique opportunity for participants to display their talent in art forms such as Dance, Singing, Photography and Painting, Sculpting/Sketching. The only condition is that participants would have to perform in art forms/languages of other States/UTs (other than their home state).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Step 1: Choose a place from Bucket-1/Phase-1 places (except your Residence State/UT) .
Step 2: Choose a Category for your performance.
Step 3: Your Performance/Art work should relate with the place you have selected. Record your performance and post it on any of your social media pages viz. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
Step 4: Use Main Hashtags (#EkBharatShreshthaBharat and #EkBharatSanskritiSangam) and Category Specific Hashtags for your post.
Step 5: Register yourself on Ek Bharat Sanskriti Sangam Campaign Page (Here). On registration, User-ID and Password will be sent to your E-mail ID.
Step 6: Login to Ek Bharat Sanskriti Sangam Page (Here) and submit the link of your Instagram/Facebook/YouTube/Twitter Post only.
Step 7: Get as many likes on your social media post. Your post will also be displayed on “Performance Gallery” (Here). Get people to vote for you on Performance Gallery.
Step 8: At the end of Phase, upload a screenshot of your social media post (showing the number of likes received), in the “Like Scorecard” tab of your login page. Please also mention the number of likes received. Deadline for uploading Phase-1 Screenshot is 15.00 hrs. (i.e., 3 PM), 21st August.

“Ek Bharat Sanskriti Sangam” is a 3-month campaign divided into 3 phases commencing on 29th July, 2023 and concluding on Ekta Diwas i.e., 31st October, 2023.
Campaign is open to Indian citizens. Participants must be between the age group of 18 to 30 years.

Participation is invited in following categories:

Dancing (Traditional, Regional, Classical, Folk etc. of the selected State/UT)
Singing (Traditional, Classical, Regional, Folk etc. of the selected State/UT)
Painting/Sketching/Sculpting (Monuments, Culture, Festivals, Places, Traditional art forms etc. of the selected State/UT). Please note that digital painting is not permitted.
Photography (Monuments, Culture, Festivals, Places etc. of selected State/UT).

Adolescent Peer Educators Leadership Training Programs ( C.B.S.E )

Subject: Adolescent Peer Educators Leadership in Life Skills, Health and Wellbeing - Registrations for Fourth Phase of Training Programs

The Central Board of Secondary Education had launched the Adolescent Peer Educators Leadership in Life Skills, Health and Wellbeing program on 23rd November 2021. The Board has taken the initiative to launch and support this program in partnership withExpressions India. Since then 78 batches of online trainings have beencompleted in which 7536 students and 3768 Teacher Mentors from 1915 schools havebeen trained.

Fourth Phase of the Training Program The Board will start the Fourth phase of the online training program in the month of October 2023.

The schools are requested to send their nominations as per the following guidelines:

 Nominate four senior students (Peer Educators) - two each from class IX and XI to participate in the comprehensive orientation program.

 Also nominate one Teacher and the School Counselor/Wellness Teacher to support the 4 peer educators.

*Note: The school can register four students from class IX in case the school is affiliated till X.

While nominating the representative Peer Educators Team, please ensure that all the team members have the following:

1. Enthusiasm and commitment for teamwork

2. Good communication skills and empathy for peers 3. Ability to model and lead appropriate behavior for others

4. Zeal for knowledge and sensitivity towards health and well-being issues

How to Register

 Participating schools are required to fill up the online registration form available at the link given in circular.

 A brief note (400 words) of the online activities being carried out by the school for the promotion of Life Skills, Holistic Health and Wellbeing should also be submitted along with the registration form.

 The last date for filling the online registration form is 10th September 2023.

 Around 50 schools shall be enrolled per training program.

The schedule of these trainings shall be informed to the respective schools.

Certificate of Participation (ecertificate) will be awarded to the participating Students and Teachers.

School Heads are urged to actively promote and support the participation of students, teachers, and counsellors in fostering a continuous climate of life skills education within their schools. By encouraging their involvement, schools can create a dynamic and sustainable environment that emphasizes the importance of life skills development for the holistic growth of students. This collective effort will contribute to the overall well- being and success of the school community.
