THE INDIAN NAVY QUIZ ( THINQ-24 )
The Indian Navy is conducting an annual quiz titled ‘The Indian Navy Quiz 2024 (THINQ-24) at national level with the theme ‘Viksit Bharat’ for school children studying in classes IX to XII.
The aim of the quiz is to inspire young school children to be nation builders by inculcating in them a strong sense of patriotism, dedication, discipline and also a sense of pride in our rich heritage, culture and values.
The THINQ-24 will be conducted by a professional Quiz Master. After three online elimination rounds and one zonal selection round in online mode, 16 schools will qualify for semi-finals and thereafter eight teams would qualify for the finals. The semi-finals would be held at Kochi, Kerala between 06th to 09th November 2024.
The finalists will gain insights into the Naval way of life by visits onboard ships based at Kochi and exposure to the Naval training facilities at Kerala. Besides the rich and unique experience, the students could win attractive prizes at various levels of the quiz.
All participants would be given an e-certificate of participation. Travel, boarding and lodging expenses for the semi-finalists and finalists would be arranged by the Indian Navy.
For participation in the quiz, the schools need to register on the website before 15.08.2024.

Patriotic Dress Competition
Let’s celebrate Independence Day 2024 and show our patriotism more vibrantly, Get ready to capture a selfie/photo that embodies the essence of patriotism and freedom.
This initiative is designed to instil a profound sense of patriotism among participants from all walks of life. Participants are encouraged to share photos or selfies adorned in attire that embodies their deep respect for the nation. The attire should embody the spirit of India, featuring elements such as Khadi, handwoven textiles, or natural hues that resonate with the country's vibrant cultural legacy. This competition underscores the celebration of India's Independence Day by fostering pride in national identity through the artistry of fashion and creative expression.
The Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov is organizing a Patriotic Dress Competition.
Participation Guidelines:
1. Participants are to upload his/her photos/selfies wearing patriotic dresses showcasing patriotism towards the nation.
2. The dress should show the spirit of India in any form viz. Khadi, hand-woven, natural colours etc.
Gratifications:
1st Prize - ₹ 25,000/-
2nd Prize - ₹ 15,000/-
3rd Prize - ₹ 10,000/-
The top 250 participants would be issued invitation cards by the Ministry of Defence to witness the Independence Day Celebration on 15th August 2024 at Red Fort, Delhi.

Essay Writing Competition on the topic Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat
Join the spirited celebration of Independence Day 2024 with enthusiasm through the Ministry of Defence and MyGov's compelling essay competition themed "Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat."
This competition encourages Indian youth to share their ideas and perspectives on India's unity in diversity. Participants will delve into how India's diverse cultures contribute to its distinctive identity. This initiative provides a vibrant platform for reflecting on India's journey to greatness, culminating in a festive celebration of Independence Day infused with passion, pride, and profound insights.
Participation Guidelines:
1. Participants are to write an essay on the topic "Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat" in around 500-600 words showcasing the essence of unity in diversity of Indian Culture.

1st Prize - ₹ 25,000/-

Participation Guidelines:
1. Participants are to showcase painting(s) depicting individual or community actions in their daily lives to protect and preserve the environment.
