About Quiz

With the aim to raise awareness about the nutritional and health benefits of millets, and to promote their cultivation and consumption, the United Nations General Assembly, at the behest of the Government of India, declared the year 2023 as the International Year of Millets. The PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi has also shared his vision to make IYM 2023 a ‘People’s Movement’ alongside positioning India as the ‘Global Hub for Millets’.

This FSSAI has launched a quiz competition on millets titled “Eat Right Millets Quiz” to mark the celebration of the International Year of Millets, thereby increasing awareness about millets and their health benefits. 

 

मिल्लेट्स यानी श्रीअन्न के पोषण और स्वास्थ्य लाभों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और उनकी खेती और खपत को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने भारत सरकार के आह्वान पर वर्ष 2023 को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मिल्लेट वर्ष घोषित किया है। भारत के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारत को ‘मिल्लेट के लिए वैश्विक हब‘ के रूप में स्थापित करने के साथ–साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय मिल्लेट वर्ष 2023 को ‘जन आंदोलन‘ बनाने के लिए अपना दृष्टिकोण भी साझा किया है।

अंतरराष्ट्रीय मिल्लेट वर्ष के उत्सव को चिह्नित करने के लिए भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक प्राधिकरण ने “ईट राइट मिल्लेट्स प्रश्नोत्तरी” शीर्षक से मिल्लेट्स पर एक प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता शुरू की है, जिससे मिल्लेट्स और उनके स्वास्थ्य लाभों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाई जा सके।

Switch off and give an hour for our

 home

The year is 2023, and the time is NOW when we take steps for the earth! And let’s begin with giving one hour to do something positive for the planet.

As landmarks and homes worldwide switch off their non-essential lights, we request everyone to do something positive for the environment. This year, we observe Earth Hour on 25th March between 8:30 pm-9:30 pm.
