NAME OF THE NATIONAL DIGITAL LIBRARY COMPETITION
Union Budget 2023-24 in its para 33 and 34 has mentioned the setting up of National Digital Library and promoting reading across the digital and physical mode for children and adolescents.
The primary objective of the proposed paras 33 and 34 is to generate curiosity and motivation for learning among students at all levels and make available enjoyable and inspirational books for holistic development. The aim of setting up of National digital library is to facilitate availability of quality books across geographies, languages, genres and levels, and device agnostic accessibility.
There is a need to finalize the name for the National Digital Library (NDL), to ensure that its spirit is widely understood and becomes popular.
In this regard, DoSE&L, Ministry of Education in collaboration with MyGov has decided to invite suggestions for the name of the National Digital Library from the general public/experts, etc.

School Innovation Marathon - 2025
Dear Teachers, Principals, and Students,
We are delighted to inform you that on the occasion of the 5th Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Department of School Education & Literacy (MoE), Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog), Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, UNICEF, and YuWaah are jointly launching the next edition of the School Innovation Marathon (SIM) 2025.
The School Innovation Marathon is a national-level skilling and innovation challenge where students from across the country are encouraged to identify real-world community problems and propose innovative solutions in the form of working prototypes.
Top-performing teams will receive:
- Funding support from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell
- Internship and Entrepreneurship opportunities through AIM’s Student Innovator Program
- Access to incubation centres and recognitions from national stakeholders

International Youth Environment Conference
The World Environment Council , an esteemed environmental organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability introduce an upcoming
International Youth Environment Conference.
This platform will provide students with a valuable opportunity to showcase their knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of sustainable challenges we face . All the interested students from the age group of 14-21 years are invited to be a part of the program. It will be conducted on 13 September 2023, from 10am-5pm via virtual means. The conference will embody speeches , workshops, interactive sessions and much more to foster the minds of the students and their participation in this regard would make a significant difference. After the closing ceremony students will be served with certificates holding global level recognition.
