National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes on the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of school heads and teachers to meet the needs of enriched teaching-learning processes for quality education. For this purpose, all Teachers and School Heads are expected to participate in at least 50 hours of continuous professional development activities every year for their own professional development, driven by their own interests, as per the norms/rules of CBSE. In this context, Central Institute of Educational Technology, National Council of Educational Research and Training (CIET NCERT) is offering online CPD programmes through DIKSHA portal and mobile app for the academic year 2024-25.
