Donate Organs Save Lives - Poster Design Contest

Angdaan Mahotsav campaign kick started on 1st July 2023 in line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to raise awareness on organ donation across the country. As part of the campaign, 3rd August 2023 will be celebrated as Indian Organ Donation Day to commemorate the first successful deceased donor organ transplant, which was also the first Heart transplant, after the promulgation of "The Transplantation of Human Organ Act" on 8th July, 1994. The month of July 2023 is being celebrated as Organ Donation Month during which various awareness activities will be organised.

Taking the campaign, a step further, the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with the MyGov platform is organising Poster Making Competition on organ donation.

Participants can submit their creations in PDF format.

The selected top entries will be awarded Cash Prizes and certificates.

Cash Rewards for Slogan Writing Competition will be as below:

- First- ₹5,000/-

- Second- ₹3,000/-

- Third- ₹2,000/-

Consolation Prize to other 10 participants- ₹1,000/-

Quiz on Indian Military History

As a part of Independence Day Celebrations 2023, the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov is organizing an online quiz competition on ‘Indian Military History’ in an effort to instil a sense of patriotism among the youth and masses.

Salient Features:
1. The quiz will in bilingual format i.e., in Hindi and English.
2. Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 10 questions can be answered.
3. All the participants will get an E-certificate.

Gratifications:
1st Prize: Rs. 25,000 /-
2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000 /-
3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000 /-
Consolation Prizes (Seven): Rs. 5,000 /- each

स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह 2023 के एक भाग के रूप में, रक्षा मंत्रालय युवाओं और नागरिकों के बीच देशभक्ति की भावना पैदा करने के प्रयास में माईगव के सहयोग से ‘भारतीय सैन्य इतिहास’ पर एक ऑनलाइन क्विज प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन करने जा रहा है।

मुख्य विशेषताएं:
1. क्विज द्विभाषी प्रारूप में यानी हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में होगी |
2. क्विज़ की अवधि 5 मिनट (300 सेकंड) होगी, जिसके दौरान अधिकतम 10 प्रश्नों का उत्तर दिया जा सकता है।

The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change is launching the Environment and Lifestyle Quiz. The purpose of the quiz is to increase individuals’ knowledge of the many government efforts and the ways in which they as citizens may support a cleaner and greener environment.

One of the world’s current concerns is the environment and its preservation. India is dedicated to preserving the environment and promoting sustainable growth. The Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, emphasises the need for a “one-word movement,” called LI.F.E (Life Style for Environment), which is a widespread movement for an environmentally friendly way of living.

About Quiz

The organisers’ reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse the participation of any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant is detrimental to the quiz, organisers, or any partners of the competition. The registrations shall be void if the information received by the organisers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false, or erroneous.

9. The organisers’ decision on the quiz will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained regarding the same.
