IGBC GREEN YOUR SCHOOL PROGRAMME

Participate in one of India’s most prestigious student competitions on sustainability – the CII - IGBC Green Your School Programme® 2025. This annual initiative, supported by Carrier India, which engages 2,000 to 3,000 students from across the country, inspiring young minds to take active roles in building a greener India.

 

Now in its 19^th edition, the theme for this year is: "Energize with Care, Protect What’s Rare"

 

This theme encourages students to reflect on how everyday choices impact forests and wildlife and highlights the importance of conservation and sustainable living.

 

We request your school to nominate three students from Grades 7 to 9, along with one mentor teacher, to participate in the programme. The selected students will prepare a presentation with ideas on how to convert their school into a Green School, focusing on the following key areas:

 

• Efficient Energy Use
• Conserving natural resources & ecology
• Education and awareness
